I need to be inspired. I need to be inspired every single day.
I need to be inspired like I need food when I’m hungry or a bed when I’m beat, or heat when I’m cold.
I look for inspiration everywhere I go. And when I find inspiration you know what I do?
I pounce on it.
I am an inspiration hunter. Somedays I sit very still and stay keen and watchful, waiting for it to approach. Somedays I find tracks and follow it. Somedays I put on my inspiration binoculars and scan the horizon for it.
Once I find it, I try to tame it, bring it home with me. I show it to all my friends. I make it comfortable and hope it will stay.
If you inspire me, I will follow you, watch you, emulate you, applaud you, tell everyone I know about you. I will wave a little flag with your name on it and parade down the street in your honor. I will tell everyone I know about you and exactly how you inspired me. I will stand behind you. I will be your biggest fan.

If you inspire me, I will stand behind you and support you so you can go forward and inspire even more people. And together we will form a huge Conga Line of Human Inspiration.
And “You” don’t even have to be a person to be in this parade.
I am inspired by places, by buildings, by geographical locales. I am inspired by nature and books and food and conversations and ideas and websites and blogs and podcasts.
Everything is potentially inspiring.
Everything

Everyone.
If you are reading this, I might be inspired by you. In fact, I need to be inspired by you. I need you to be an inspiration for me. And after I become inspired by you, I will want to pay it forward and be an inspiration for someone else, and so on and so on.
And this is how I want to live every single day my life: being inspired and then inspiring back. I want to live in a constant dance of inspiration.
This blog is devoted to that mission. This the place where I will tell you what fueled me, fed me, quenched that unquenchable thirst to live in a state of total and unceasing inspiration every. single. day.
This is the Inspiration Location.
I will tell you about what inspires me, affects me, animates me, arouses me, encourages me.
I will tell you what enlivens me, excites me, fires me up.
I will tell you what invigorates me, motivates me, provokes me, stirs me and touches me.
Then, hopefully, you will do the same for me. This is where I will come to tell you what inspired me, and you can come here to be inspired, and then to share what inspired you that day.
I will also tell you what I “did” with my inspiration, how I “paid it forward.”
And hopefully you will too.

Oh….how I needed to read and hear your inspiring voice at this crossroad in my life. Timing really is everything, sometimes. You weave a beautiful tapestry with your words. Or, should I say you spin a quality yarn? The bottom line is…I will be coming back for more.
