I hate these big, oversized Halliburton trucks, which have been making a big, oversized presence on the roads around here lately. Every time I see one, I fill with hate: hate for the industry they represent and the casual freedom with which they roll in and strafe the land. I hate sharing the road with … Continue reading Just Be Professional
Do you need an Adventure, an Experience, or a Vacation?
I just returned from a short family vacation with G’s family. Not all of them, just eight of us in a big house on a lake in Virginia. The house had kayaks, but we brought a SUP and some blow-up floating things. G rented a pontoon boat so she could whip the kids around the … Continue reading Do you need an Adventure, an Experience, or a Vacation?
Learning To Love Reality.
Macro of a perfect eye The visit to my retina specialist yesterday was disappointing. The film over my left eye and the large twig-like floater will have to resolve on their own—or not—no YAG laser procedure for me. When I asked about YAG as a possibility, my doctor recoiled, “God, no! Do not do that! … Continue reading Learning To Love Reality.

But if we knew ourselves better and understood our vibrational patterns, we’d be able to co-exist more harmoniously with those we’d never be able to vibe with.
Style Is How You Break The Rules
I’m still organizing my clothes. I’ve been spending days and a lot of bandwidth thinking about stuff like base layers, the Rule of Three, and the concept of Clashing Vibes. The Rule of Three Your base layers are your tops and bottoms. After that, you add three more elements to arrive at your look: a … Continue reading Style Is How You Break The Rules
Nothing To Wear
My snobby disinterest in shopping and following fashion trends may not be the badge of honor I supposed, but rather a missed opportunity for creative self-expression.
