Just when I thought I couldn’t bear winter another minute, this.
Oh my.

I love yoga. Teaching and doing.
I like to write, but I want to edit much more. Tragically, in order to have something to edit, you have to write something first. I try to scribble 1K words a day in Scrivener.
I like wine.
My favorite thing in life is having great conversations. I love to share ideas. Good conversation is becoming a lost art, though.
If I don't do some yoga, meditate, and read and write every day, things really fall apart.
I wish I would post on this blog more regularly.
I'm going to work on that.

I have been thinking about this and thought I’d share with a sign I have in my office:
People are often unreasonable, illogical and self-centered,
Forgive them anyway.
If you are kind, People may accuse you of selfish, ulterior motives;
Be kind anyway.
If you are successful, you will win some false friends, and some true enemies;
Succeed anyway.
If you are hones and frank, People may cheat you:
Be honest and frank anyway.
What you spend years building, Someone could destroy overnight;
Build anyway.
If you find serenity and happiness, They may be jealous;
Be happy anyway.
The good you do today, People will often forget tomorrow:
Do good anyway.
Give the world the best you have, and it may never be enough:
Give the world the best you got anyway.
You see in the final analysis, it is between you and God;
It was never between you and them anyway.

Lin,
I LOVE this! It’s perfect, it’s true, it’s wise, it inspired me today! Thank you! YOU are an inspiration! I especially loved the last line: “It was never between you and them anyway.” OMG, Yes!

But our hearts must be very quiet to hear it”
