I’m newly home from my Meditative Posture Flow class. It’s a lovely sequence (thanks, Yoganand) and there are amazing practitioners in that room. They go really deep inside, creating a vibe in the room that is slow, deep and prana-rich.
The yoga is lovely, sure, but I think the best thing I provide my students is the blessed, rare, exquisite opportunity to be …..quiet.
Quiet, and still.
It’s an opportunity to stop talking, stop fidgeting, and to reconnect with who they really are. Inside.
It’s an amazing thing to see.
I’m constantly in awe.

I love yoga. Teaching and doing.
I like to write, but I want to edit much more. Tragically, in order to have something to edit, you have to write something first. I try to scribble 1K words a day in Scrivener.
I like wine.
My favorite thing in life is having great conversations. I love to share ideas. Good conversation is becoming a lost art, though.
If I don't do some yoga, meditate, and read and write every day, things really fall apart.
I wish I would post on this blog more regularly.
I'm going to work on that.
